Surprising Someone Special

 

Casey and I are finishing up our last semester college. One of the things I'm so grateful for while we've been apart from each other is the notebook we've kept up.

One anniversary I bought this notebook for us to write letters and memories and thoughts down while we were apart. Every few weeks we exchange the notebook. Sometimes it's in person, sometimes we mail it to each other, and other times we hide it with clues to find it.

When I was studying abroad in Australia I had the notebook with me for all those months. Little did I know that while I was gone, Casey had been writing entries to put into the notebook for when I came home. I couldn't believe how thoughtful he was.

It's finally filled and I love looking back at our time together. Some entries are about special dates others about stupid everyday things that I love being able to remember.

It just goes to show that the best presents cost you little to nothing.
